Nuclear power HVAC solutions
Nuclear power plants are new power plants that utilize the energy stored within atomic nuclei to generate electricity. The reactor in a nuclear power plant is a device that can sustain and control a nuclear fission chain reaction, thereby achieving the conversion of nuclear energy into thermal energy. Nuclear power plants are generally divided into two parts: one is the nuclear island that uses nuclear energy to produce steam, including the reactor unit and the primary loop system; the other is the conventional island that uses steam to generate electricity, including the turbine generator system. In order to maintain a normal working environment for the nuclear island building, conventional island building equipment, and personnel, the building is equipped with an HVAC ventilation and air conditioning system. The design of the HVAC system and components must comply with relevant regulations and nuclear air treatment standards. Among them, active components such as nuclear-grade fans and nuclear-grade valves are equipment supervised by the National Nuclear Safety Administration. Our company has the capability to design, manufacture, and supply complete sets of HVAC system equipment, including nuclear-grade and non-nuclear-grade fans, valves, and air conditioners.
