Good news! Deep integration of production, education, and research drives a new revolution in wind turbine intelligence
Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the "Notice on the Approval of the List of Provincial Engineering Research Centers in 2024" (Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission High-tech [2024] No. 265). Among them, the "Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center for Industrial Metaverse Application and Digital Empowerment," jointly applied for by Hangzhou Dianzi University Shangyu Research Institute as the依托单位 and Zhejiang Shangfeng Gaoko Specialized Wind Industry Co., Ltd. as the co-construction unit, was successfully approved, ranking fifth in the province! This is the first time a Zhejiang wind turbine company has been approved for a Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center, and it also represents another major breakthrough for the company in the construction of major provincial scientific research and innovation platforms.
The approval of this major provincial platform marks another significant advance for our company in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance. With the strong support of the company's leadership, Professor Jiafa Li, along with the members of the digital team including Chuning and Dr. Cai Caifang, worked together to reach new heights in technology. The entire approval process was full of challenges; the team not only had to pass the initial online application screening but also faced the tense challenge of an on-site presentation and the rigorous examination of a field assessment. This process was not only a comprehensive review of the project itself but also a deep recognition of the team's capabilities and the project's value.
The project started from the grassroots level and gradually passed the selection process of the Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, and Zhejiang Provincial governments. Each step reflects the team's hard work and wisdom. During this year-long journey, the team overcame numerous difficulties, demonstrating extraordinary perseverance and professional skills.
This provincial engineering research center aims to conduct research on common key technologies for the industrial metaverse, including a digital twin visualization platform for industrial equipment production safety management and an intelligent human-computer interaction system based on the industrial internet platform. The entire process reflects the team's collaborative spirit, commitment to innovation, and dedication to promoting technological progress and industrial upgrading. The project focuses on integrating and empowering key industries such as advanced materials, intelligent equipment, and the digital economy, promoting the green and intelligent upgrading of Shangzhuang's wind turbine products.
