Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the "Notice on the Approval of the List of Provincial Engineering Research Centers in 2024" (Zhejiang Development and Reform Commission High-tech [2024] No. 265). Among them, the "Industrial Metaverse Application and Digital Intelligence Empowerment Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center," jointly applied for by Hangzhou Dianzi University Shangyu Research Institute as the依托单位 and Zhejiang Shangfeng Gaoko Specialized Wind Industry Co., Ltd. as the co-construction unit, was successfully approved, ranking fifth in the province! This is the first time a Zhejiang wind turbine company has been approved for a Zhejiang Provincial Engineering Research Center, and it also marks another major breakthrough for the company in the construction of major provincial-level scientific research and innovation platforms.
The approval of this major provincial-level platform marks another significant advance for our company in the field of intelligent operation and maintenance. With the strong support of the company's leadership, Professor Jiafali, leading the digital team including Chuning and Dr. Cai Caifang, and other R&D personnel, worked together to reach new technological heights. The entire approval process was full of challenges. The team not only needed to pass the initial online application screening but also faced the tense challenge of an on-site defense and the strict examination of on-site assessments. This process was not only a comprehensive review of the project itself but also a deep recognition of the team's capabilities and the project's value.
The project started at the grassroots level and gradually passed the selection process of the Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, and Zhejiang Provincial governments. This provincial-level engineering research center aims to conduct research on common industrial metaverse key technologies, including a digital twin visualization platform for industrial equipment production safety management and an intelligent human-computer interaction system based on an industrial internet platform.
