Empowerment through Learning, Gathering Strength for the Future | Wind Turbine Company's 2024 First Junior Cadre Seminar, Second Training Session Successfully Completed
Recently, the second training session of the first Junior Cadre Seminar for the 2024 graduating class of the wind turbine company was successfully held at the Yingfeng Environment Shaoxing base. This seminar, themed on efficient management, enabled participants to gradually master the ability to set clear goals, efficient communication skills, accurate decision-making capabilities, and excellent teamwork skills, achieving synergistic development for both individuals and teams.
In this seminar, participants collectively read the CEO's recommended book "The Effective Executive." This book, hailed as the bible of management, integrates Peter Drucker's years of management wisdom and practical experience.
The seminar director, Li Shouyuan, began with a leading speech, interpreting the core concepts and values of "The Effective Executive" and sharing his unique insights into the management theories in the book based on his personal management experience. He emphasized five essential elements for managers: clear goals, effective planning, efficient execution, team motivation, and continuous learning and innovation. He also shared his practical experience in time management, team motivation, and goal setting, providing valuable reference points for attendees.

Seminar participants shared their reading experiences. They elaborated on the qualities and skills successful managers should possess, how managers can effectively manage time and tasks to improve work efficiency, and presented specific methods for arranging work time rationally, avoiding ineffective labor, and improving work efficiency, including setting priorities, making work plans, and assigning work tasks. They also discussed, using specific cases, how to improve team performance and achieve organizational goals through effective management strategies.
In the afternoon, the seminar held a thematic discussion and sharing session. Participants, adhering to a problem-oriented approach, reported on the completion of key tasks in 2024, objectively, rationally, and comprehensively analyzing existing problems and gaps, proposing solutions and measures to overcome challenges, and meticulously planning key tasks for 2025.
The atmosphere at the seminar, focusing on pragmatic solutions and seeking advice, was lively and energetic. Participants spoke freely, directly addressing problems and issues, providing ideas and measures for resolving key, difficult, and bottleneck problems, and laying a solid foundation for the commencement and planning of various key tasks next year.

After carefully listening to the reports and speeches, company leaders commented on the reports from each team, fully affirming this year's achievements and, in light of the current development situation, offering relevant ideas and suggestions for completing various tasks next year.
Director Li Shouyuan emphasized that various departments should elevate their standing and pool their wisdom. Based on this seminar, they should further refine and improve the 2025 work plan and comprehensively plan key tasks for the entire year. The key is to adhere to two guiding principles:
First, adhere to a problem-oriented approach. Face problems squarely, reflect deeply, benchmark against advanced examples, and identify gaps. Focus on strengthening project management, effectively improving work efficiency; diligently promote quality and efficiency improvements, establishing an effective full-process management mechanism; improve the quality and effectiveness of professional management, making improvements and refinements according to the requirements of the group company; implement management, achieving the effective transformation of individual and collective wisdom; and establish and improve the training system, systematically planning the development of three talent teams: management, skills, and professional.
Second, adhere to a value-oriented approach. Firmly grasp the four key objectives of safety and environmental protection, enterprise development, profit improvement, and risk control. Deeply practice the concept that "everyone should create value, and every task should have value." Adhere to pragmatism, hard work, and foresight. Set our sights on the "three-step" strategy of significantly reducing losses, achieving break-even, and achieving positive profits, and collectively work together with dedication and cooperation to create a bright future.
Subsequently, the seminar organized an outdoor orienteering activity. All participants set off in turn, holding task instruction cards, following the lakeside boardwalk, completing the orienteering challenge while experiencing the charm of outdoor activities with "youthful, healthy energy," and checking in at designated points marked on the map. After intense competition, Group Three ultimately won first place in both the group and individual competitions with a total group time of 85 minutes and an average individual time of 17 minutes.

This orienteering activity was not just an outdoor sporting competition, but more like an in-depth exploration of team spirit, putting aside the pressures of work and life to run and explore freely in the lush natural environment. It brought not only complete physical and mental relaxation after sweating, but also the opportunity to make new friends, enhance understanding, and share joy through collaborative experiences.
Finally, the director commented on and summarized the participants' performance. He pointed out that this seminar was a training session that helped to promote the company's cultural development, foster cultural identification, and enhance the management capabilities of the cadre team. He also emphasized that it is essential to enhance ideological understanding, use a global perspective to examine the effectiveness of work, and enhance a sense of urgency and responsibility; to prescribe the right medicine, through measures such as cost-benefit analysis, to find the break-even point, benchmark against advanced practices to identify problems, find gaps, and clarify direction; and to work together collaboratively, strengthening communication, supporting each other, uniting and working together to overcome difficulties and continuously improve. Finally, he hoped that the participants would be goal-oriented, people-centered, and results-oriented, fostering their growth, transforming knowledge into results, and becoming effective executives.

The deeper one learns, the clearer one's understanding becomes, and the more steadfast one's actions are. In the next phase of training, it is hoped that all participants will remain true to their original intentions and strive persistently, further strengthening their ideals and beliefs, honing their management capabilities, enhancing their abilities and qualities, and contributing to the high-quality development of the company with practical commitment.
