Commencement Ceremony for Yingfeng New Energy Equipment Project (East China Base)
On the morning of March 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Yingfeng New Energy Equipment Project (East China Base) was held in Shangyu District.
Attendees included Mr. Shi Huifang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shaoxing Municipal Committee and Mayor; Mr. He Jianfeng, Chairman of Yingfeng Group; Mr. Lu Xiaguang, Deputy Mayor of Shaoxing and Secretary of the CPC Shangyu District Committee; Mr. Wang Yongming, Secretary-General of the Shaoxing Municipal Government; Mr. Ma Gang, Chairman and CEO of Yingfeng Environment; Mr. He Jiangang, Director of the Shaoxing Municipal Development and Reform Commission; Mr. Zhang Yongming, Director of the Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; and other relevant district-level departments and units, major leaders of various townships and streets, representatives of cadres from the Caoejiang Economic Development Zone and Daoxu Street, and representatives of Yingfeng Group employees. 。
At the groundbreaking ceremony, speeches were given by Mr. Lu Xiaguang, Deputy Mayor of Shaoxing and Secretary of the CPC Shangyu District Committee; Mr. Ruan Chenghua, Secretary of the CPC Caoejiang Economic Development Zone Working Committee; and Mr. Ma Gang, Chairman and CEO of Yingfeng Environment. Mr. Shi Huifang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shaoxing Municipal Committee and Mayor, announced the commencement of the project.
Mayor Lu emphasized that the Yingfeng New Energy Equipment project (East China Base), a multi-billion-dollar project, boasts significant investment, high project quality, and promising returns. It serves as a crucial engine for accelerating the transformation of old and new growth drivers, promoting green development, and fostering the growth of new high-quality productive forces. He also expressed his sincere hope that Yingfeng Group, as the project owner, will work with a reverse schedule and a clear action plan to expedite the project's construction, commissioning, and efficiency.
Mr. Ma expressed his sincere admiration and gratitude to the leaders who cooperated in project communication. He affirmed the project's regional advantages, highlighting Shaoxing's strategic location at the throat of the Yangtze River Delta region, the strong synergy between its industrial resources and Yingfeng Environment's business strengths, and its suitability as an optimal region for the application and manufacturing of new energy equipment. He stated that with the recent implementation of several major projects and the introduction of a series of practical and development-oriented policies, Shaoxing is becoming more open, confident, and vibrant, with immeasurable future potential. This further strengthens our determination and confidence in investing in this land.
The Yingfeng New Energy project has a planned total investment of approximately 10 billion yuan, with a planned land area of approximately 781 mu (approximately 52 hectares). It will be implemented in three phases. The first two phases will use approximately 554 mu (approximately 37 hectares) of land. Upon completion, the project is expected to contribute hundreds of millions of yuan in taxes to Shaoxing Shangyu. The project is positioned as a global industrial base for new energy equipment manufacturing, intelligent emergency equipment, intelligent motor equipment, and intelligent wind turbine equipment, creating an Yingfeng East China base, forming a multi-billion-dollar industrial cluster, assisting Shaoxing's industrial upgrading and transformation, and seizing the new high ground of new energy intelligent manufacturing.
Following the commencement of construction, Yingfeng Environment will accelerate the project's progress with Shaoxing speed and Shangyu efficiency, striving for early completion, early production, and early returns. We will also take this project cooperation as a new starting point, fully leveraging our technological advantages in new energy technology, intelligent emergency equipment, intelligent wind turbine equipment, and intelligent motors, firmly grasping the key to innovation-driven development, attracting more high-level talents to settle in Shangyu, fostering strong innovation and creativity, and contributing to Shaoxing's high-quality development with practical actions.
